About Dina

Dina Marie Lauro is a Raw Vegan Chef.  Growing up in an Italian family she was born to cook, but her "school" training began at the Natural Gourmet Institute of Health & Culinary Arts in Manhattan, NY.  At NGI, she learned how to create delicious, plant-based foods without animal ingredients.  From there, she moved to West Palm Beach, FL and continued her culinary education as an Assistant Chef at the Hippocrates Health Institute.  This is where her raw food world opened up.

At Hippocrates she learned the simplicity of health and how it's a balancing of the mind and body
Starting with food, she now knows what foods are good for the body, how to prepare them, and how to combine them correctly with other foods for proper digestion.  Being "healthy" in the mind, she learned how to be grateful for the now, to come from a place of love, and to surround yourself with like-minded people.
 Wanting to learn even more, she enrolled in their 9 week Health Educator Course and experienced the raw food, cleansing diet for herself as well as the education behind why the body needs to cleanse mentally and physically.
She is now a Certified Health Educator.  This wonderful, life-changing experience shines through in all of Dina's classes.

In June 2011, Dina launched her cookie business called Chunkie Dunkies.
She has developed and created a full line of gourmet raw/vegan cookies that are gluten-free, dairy-free and soy-free.  They are the new, cutting-edge,  Healthy Alternative to "conventional" cookies.   Not only are they delicious but they are loaded with nutrients, enzymes, protein, and fiber.  These cookies are truly satisfying and will cure any craving - guaranteed!!!
